Usa & Canada: The Friendly NeighborsConsidering the geography of the United States and Canada, we're literally neighbors, trade partners and close friends. Though you might think Americans hate Canadians or Canadians hate Americans, we're all just playing around (or are we..? Joke!). The relationship between the two countries is an unbreakable one the bond will only continue to go up.
When I was younger, I never really knew much about Canada only that it was a huge piece of land that offered almost nothing but ice, forest and moose. When I first went to Canada (I went to Ontario), my whole view of the country changed. We entered from Detroit and got into Windsor, and I swear I felt like I was in the US. I feel like Canada is the closest thing you will ever get to the States. Of course there are slight differences such as using kilometers when driving, a lot of signs are in English and French and people relatively speak the same way although if you listen closely you can tell there is a slight difference. And yes, I noticed Canadians do say "Eh"! I understand every province is different with what they have to offer, but I plan to venture off to more in the coming years and go to more provinces other than Ontario. Just like the US, the east coast is very different than that of the west coast in terms of terrain and landscape, economically, language, culture, it goes on and on. So far though, I think Canada is awesome. Now, last but not least, 'MURICA! I was born and raised in Florida, so of course I am going to be biased about my own country. I have never been on the west coast of the United States, but I dream to go! I would love to go to LA, Seattle, Vegas, Oregon, after all, they say "the west coast is the best coast". I would say I'm fairly familiar with the east coast and certain parts of the midwest. Some cities I have been to include Minneapolis, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Boston, New York, and my favorite of them all--Chicago! I have taken two road trips thus far throughout the midwest and I really enjoy them. The United States is not only my home, but it's also a great place to explore. It offers so many different things to see that include several amazing cities, breathtaking landscape, great sight seeing, sports and more! The United States is very vast, but I hope to visit every state one day. Oh, Canada!Language: English and French
