What made me start a blog?

Honestly, I was just browsing Instagram one day when I happened to come across a man named Drew Binsky (follow him, drewbinsky7) and I thought his work was spectacular. I love everything that he does and we can relate so much, so he’s one of the main reasons why I wanted to start this blog and why I love to travel. I also have to give a shoutout to my father. He’s done so much traveling throughout his life he’s been to a lot of countries, mostly for business and work. We always talk about other countries and stuff and it just really motivates me to hop on a plane and go somewhere new.
Another person I can relate to is a man that I’ve been watching for years, Furious Pete. Everything he does I LOVE. I think I can relate him the most considering his YouTube channel is all about fitness, eating, and traveling the world. Check out his YouTube channel at “Furiouspete123”.
I’ve always loved geography and I know where almost every country is on the map, along with their capitals.
For that those reasons, I chose to write this blog. We’ll see how far it takes me, but I plan to write about all the stuff I love to do.
Like I said before, I’m just your average college student. Yes, I love to party. I love to workout. I love girls, food, chilling, the list goes on and on. I encourage you all to write about your hobbies and your passions, because you never know how far it will take you. That’s exactly what I’m doing.
The same way I was inspired, you can be too. You just have to make it happen.
Too tired to hit the gym? Remember why you started. Don’t feel like finishing that paper? Do it anyway. Get it done.
In the famous words by our beloved Shia LaBeouf, “If you hate starting over, STOP GIVING UP!”. I go by those words everyday and give everything that I do 110% of my effort.
I used to be a really fat and lazy kid in my younger years. I was OBSESSED with video games, World of Warcraft to be exact loll. I would waste hours on the computer, addicted to the action that was occurring within the screen. I actually got back into the game just a few months ago to be honest with you, but soon quit after a couple months because I wasn’t happy with it. I was making no progress with myself and the game wasn’t benefiting me in any way, shape or form.
Best decision so far and I would totally prefer to write on this blog of mine or go to the gym and work on myself while furthering my studies at school.
I’m just doing me.

Don't quit
If you feel like starting up a blog, do it! It doesn't even have to be about travel; it can be about any of your passions. The hardest part is starting. Once you start, remain consistent. I had no idea how to start up my own blog when I first started. Actually, I'm literally writing this post a few days after having starting the actual blog, and I still am not really sure how to do everything. Just mess around with the buttons and how everything works; eventually you'll get into the swing of things.
Don't have enough to write about? Can't really give advice on traveling or social media? That's fine. I'm only 19 years old, only at the halfway mark of college before getting my bachelors degree, I haven't really been to many places yet, and here I am still writing and updating my blog. Write so far about what you know and even about what is to come in the near future because once that time does come, you have a blog to write all that stuff in! I have a post in my Travels section about Future Trips, check it out!
Another tip, do not compare your blog and work to other bloggers out there. This will cause you to question your blog and make you try to make your blog similar, if not identical to theirs. Just do your own thing and good things will come.
From what I've seen and read; it's not easy being a blogger. In order to be successful, you must put in the time. This goes for anything, really. You wanna be the best basketball player? Train like the best. Work your ass off. Same goes for this, put in the time, and the results will follow. Once you gain more people as followers and viewers, you'll never want to quit. Just use this as motivation!
DON'T WORRY ABOUT OTHERS!
If your friends think it's lame that you're starting a blog, so be it. Ignore all negativity out there and just keep doing you. There will always be haters. Just ignore them and move on; simple.
BE UNIQUE! Do things your way. Be original. Nobody is comparing one from another as long as you try and love what you do. Trust me, you won't care how your blog looks or how it compares to someone else's until you see the results. It just takes patience. Followers and viewers won't appear overnight. Keep building your blog, remain consistent and one day you will love the results. Just anticipate the best, as am I.
