Welcome to Italy! The trip that made me fall in love with travel during the Spring of 2015.
We left Orlando around 6pm if I can remember correctly, and made our way towards Frankfurt Airport. The flight was boring and I couldn’t really sleep for some reason, although I did get to watch Up! Lol, we got to Frankfurt in about 7 hours I believe and then we had a 4 hour layover…woohoo. At least my friends and I got to walk around and get only a teeny tiny spec of what Germany is like. I had made sure that I purchased some German craft and I actually did. I loved it, I had like 3 huge glasses, so it gave me a sweet little buzz to sleep on when we made our way to our main destination: ROME. One thing I knew was that I promised I would be back in Germany, and not just the airport, several cities for that matter. The flight to Rome was rather relaxing, for I was snuggled up the whole way, so I honestly can’t remember how long it was lol. My friend sitting next to me was actually sitting next to me on the flight and she woke me up at one point during the flight to take a look at the beautiful Swiss Alps, what an amazing sight! Next thing you know, we landed. The time to roam around Rome has come! Land of Romans, Pasta and Gladiators!Language: Italian

More on Italy
Italy is definitely one of those must come to places in Europe. Honestly, when have you ever seen a person not come to Italy when they take a trip to Europe?! It's one of the most prestigious places on the Earth and one of the most beautiful as well. Italy is a land of much terrain. To the north there beautiful mountains and hills, and to the south you find beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters. From my experiences from city to city, I enjoyed most of my time in Florence. Very clean, good vibes, and honestly felt like I was in heaven. They say that the Italian people are rude and fiesty, but I never came across one rude Italian. They were all very nice to me and well educated (almost every single one spoke good/decent English). On the other hand, Rome was a very nice time. It was dirty compared to Florence or Sorrento, but I'm not going to complain about Rome, because well, it's Rome. You will enjoy the city. Mt. Vesuvius was an experience in and of itself. Hiking up the volcano and gazing at the view was breathtaking. Sorrento was a nice little town on the coast that was very nice as well. Overall, Italy was 10/10. I JUST WISH I STAYED LONGER AND WENT OUT MORE! Until next time, Italia! |
